Andrew Callan is our Minister of Administration and has served on the staff of First Presbyterian Church since May 2007.  In that role, he is responsible for supervising FPC's Ministry Support Team, facilities, and finances.  Andrew has a unique blend of business and ministry education and experience.  He graduated from Southeastern College of the Assemblies of God in Lakeland, FL, in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Church Ministries.  He graduated from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA, in 2000 with a Master of Business Administration in General Management.
 
After graduating from Regent, Andrew worked in corporate America for five years in a variety of capacities including supervisor, training manager, and consultant.  After an unexpected lay-off in 2005, Andrew accepted a position as Church Administrator at Glad Tidings Church in Norfolk, VA.  There, Andrew was able to serve in a full-time ministry position that allowed him to take the eternal principles he absorbed in his undergraduate education and couple them with the business principles he learned at Regent.
 
Andrew married his best friend and soul-mate, Holly, in September 2002.  Holly owns and operates her own business, Holly Callan Photography.  In May 2009, Holly and Andrew celebrated the birth of their first son, Drew.  Their family is complete by their mischievous cat, Colby, who spends his days sleeping and his evenings riding around Chesapeake on his motorcycle.
 
Andrew is a licensed minister with International Ministerial Fellowship.  His personal prayer for Christians is that we would seek to know Jesus daily in an even greater way!  Colossians 2:6-7 says, "As you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so continue to live in Him.  Keep your roots deep in Him and have your lives built on Him."
