Josh is a 1998 graduate of Catawba College, where he majored in
Religion and Philosophy, and Communication Arts. While at Catawba, he
designed and implemented two local church’s youth programs. After
graduation, Josh moved back home to Virginia Beach to take over as Youth
Director at his (then) home church for four years. While working at
said church, he also went to work in the family construction company,
founded by his grandfather and currently run by his father.
Josh joined First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk in June 2007, after being involved in the Youth Singles Group. From 2007 to present day he has taught both adult and youth Sunday school classes here at FPC, and has traveled with other brothers and sisters from FPC to Kenya and Sudan on missions trips.

In his spare time Josh likes to run, study Judo and Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, spend quality time with his beautiful wife Joanne, work out and read. He also loves the great outdoors; camping, backpacking, hiking, kayaking, biking and campfires with smores.
This past June, Josh and his lovely wife, Joanne, celebrated their wedding day. They now get to work two doors down from each other serving our Lord and our church family.
