Kathy and Charlie have two wonderful children. Chris is in his second year at UVA and Katherine is in 7th grade at Norfolk Academy. The Stines feel very blessed to be raising their children in the church. From Baptism through the Pre-School to Sunday School and Kirk Choir and on to Confirmation and Youth Group, their lives have been centered around Jesus and the community of FPC. They are so amazed and excited by the movement of the Holy Spirit that they have witnessed at FPC over the past 24 years!

In 2003, Kathy joined the FPC Staff. After a 14 year career in television production, then staying at home with Chris and Katherine for 10 years, she was surprised to find the Lord calling her to be the Receptionist at FPC. It has turned out to be more fun and rewarding than she could have ever imagined. Seeing the Preschoolers coming in enthusiastically each morning, greeting all those who come through our doors and sharing in the lives of so many in our Family of Faith has been a great joy and blessing!
