Wednesday nights have gotten a makeover. New programming at FPC will start this Fall on September 25. Eat together - dinner starts at 5:15pm with free pizza for the kids and youth, followed by NEW programming for adults, youth and children.Get involved!

ADULT COMMUNITY GROUPS - each Wednesday you’ll start the evening with a short discussion led by Jim Wood, followed by Community Groups.

YOUTH - kick off the semester with a new youth group time and format.

CHILDREN - join in the fun with our fine arts intensive. Children will develop skills in music, dance and art.

Rise Against Hunger Meal-packing Event

Join us as we help our community, city, nation, and world rise against hunger! This event, formerly called Stop Against Hunger, is a fun event for people of all ages where we will package meals that will be distributed to people in need. Dinner will be served at 5:00 and food packing will begin promptly at 6:00pm .  Children 4 years old and older will help package meals. Childcare is provided for ages 3 & under. Please RSVP below.

Church Family Mission Camp

Join us for a long weekend of service and worship with your FPC Family! This event is a great way to get involved and serve the community as a family.  Kids of all ages welcome.

We will serve the community of Harrisonburg together as a church family. Projects for all ages and skill level will be available. Costs below are all-inclusive and include food and lodging. Travel as a family at your own pace arriving by the afternoon of Thursday, August 8 and checking out after lunch on Sunday, August 11. Registration packets are available at the Welcome Desk.

The first African-American woman ordained in the United Presbyterian Church (USA), Dr. Cannon taught at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. She lectured nationally on theological and ethical topics and was the author or editor of numerous articles and seven books including  Katie’s Canon: Womanism and the Soul of the Black Community and Black Womanist Ethics . Our all-church community service project will be held on Saturday, March 24 at Chosen for Completion (site of the former Cradock Presbyterian Church).

Join us for our 6th annual church-wide community service project at Chosen for Completion (former site of Cradock Presbyterian Church). We will be working alongside friend and partner Pastor Nate Griffin and his congregation to paint, organize, decorate and clean their facilities. There will be projects and activities for all ages and skill sets.
