Our all-church community service project will be held on Saturday, March 24 at Chosen for Completion (site of the former Cradock Presbyterian Church).
Join us for our 6th annual church-wide community service project at Chosen for Completion (former site of Cradock Presbyterian Church). We will be working alongside friend and partner Pastor Nate Griffin and his congregation to paint, organize, decorate and clean their facilities. There will be projects and activities for all ages and skill sets.

Dr. Leonard Weireter, General Surgeon at Norfolk General Hospital, will introduce “STOP THE BLEED: THE SIMPLE ART OF SAVING LIVES”, a training to help civilians learn basic response techniques to help handle emergency hemorrhages.

Maundy Thursday, also known as Holy Thursday, is the name given to the day on which Jesus celebrated the Passover with His disciples, known as the Last Supper. Join us as we gather together and celebrate Christ’s presence at table. We will worship, share fellowship and communion. Dinner is served in the midst of this family friendly worship experience. Reservations for dinner and childcare can be made below.

Tree of Lives provides medical relief, counseling, education, food, and housing in the fight against AIDS and abandonment in Africa. Our Holy Family Center AIDS clinic in Kenya treats over 5,000 patients. Our orphanage, Joy Children’s Village, is home to 60 previously abandoned and abused African children. It is for these 60 children that the Run for a Kenyan team will participate in the We Promise Foundation 5K.

Join us for this amazing evening of music! Twenty-eight year-old concert organist Thomas Ospital, Organist at Saint-Eustache Church in Paris, home to the largest pipe organ in France will play at FPC. He is the Organist in Residence at the Radio France Concert Hall, an acoustical gem of a venue that seats over 1,400 people, Professor of Harmony at the Paris Conservatory, and winner of the 2012 and 2014 audience prize at the Chartre Competition. In 2012 he served as Young Artist in Residence at the Cathedral-Basilica of Saint-Louis King of France in New Orleans, Louisiana. Past performances have taken him throughout Europe including the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Greece, Germany, Switzerland, and Holland. Ospital will be in the United States on tour this Fall and will perform a solo organ concert in Norfolk. Free and open to the public.
