MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers
2nd and 4th Fridays, 9:15 - 11:15 a.m.
Come be a part of MOPS 2017-2018. Our Theme this year is "Free Indeed."
What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mother's of Preschoolers from conception to Kindergarten. This is an International organization of mothers from all backgrounds. We are moms, and we believe we make a better world through fellowship, and building relationships with each other and with God. You are invited to celebrate motherhood with all different types of mom's to share in joy, embrace rest and notice goodness. Join us, or just try it for one meeting. Please feel free to bring a friend! We have childcare, or MOPPETS available so you can relax for 2 hours child free, enjoy brunch, and know that your children are receiving the best care right here at First Presbyterian Church. Let's travel on this exciting journey together as a team. Email us to register prior to each class and include the number of children requiring childcare!

Join us for music of Hayden, Mozart and Schubert featuring 10-year-old cellist Kendall Gonzalez on Hayden's Cello Concerto. Virginia Symphony Orchestra musicians will perform alongside the HRCP. Tickets are $5 at the door. The event is sponsored by our Seniors First ministry and is open to all.
FPC101 is a casual gathering with our pastors where you will hear about the history of our church, our ministries and our missions. More importantly, this is a place you can ask any question and expect an honest, forthright answer – whether it is about tithing, denominational issues, or simply what you need to do to join the church.
We will tour the church campus, share a meal and spend a few hours getting to know each other! If you are considering membership or just want to know more about our family of faith, we genuinely invite you to join us for this evening. Childcare is provided. Contact Valena Hoy for more info.
