Prayer & Spiritual Growth

The Center for Prayer and Spiritual Growth is dedicated to being a safe place where all are welcome to spend quiet time with the Lord and fellow companions. The Center is located at
800 Colonial Avenue next to the church on the corner of Colonial and Raleigh. The over 100 year old home of the Manning family was dedicated as the Center on February 10, 2008.
In Possessing the Vision (FPC’s 10 year plan) the dream of a place where people can gather for prayer, find a quiet place to meditate on God’s Word, attend a class on Christian disciplines, receive spiritual direction or meet with a small group was birthed. One of the guiding principles of FPC is to be inwardly strong and outwardly focused. The fruit of prayer and Christian discipline strengthens one to stay centered in Christ and able to serve others.
