Connecting . . .
What is a small group? A group that does the “work of the church.” Starting your own small group is building close relationships that build the kingdom within you, nurture you and support you.
Each group is based on connecting through four cornerstones for SAFE SPACE:
- Fellowship and Community – building relationships with each other where you can share the joys and challenges of everyday life
- Prayer – share prayer concerns for your own family as well as others
- Study of the Word – Biblically based studies of a wide variety of subjects from a book of the Bible to spiritual gifts to hearing God speak to everyday living as a single person, spouse and/or parent
- Service – each group selects their own service project and enjoy fellowship while working together for the wider church
Watch for Worship + 2 and the ACCESS newsletter for Small Group Connections where you can meet others who want to be in a small group as well as connect with those who are expanding their small group. Leaders of existing small groups are encouraged to attend and pickup tips on latest resources and leadership.
