Kenya Mission Outreach

Mission Statement:
To strengthen the African Christian family as together we fight poverty and AIDS.

Join us as we continue the support begun by our church at Nazareth Hospital in Kenya.  Financial contributions and prayer support can assist the following ministries:

  • Providing three full-time Christian hospital chaplains.
  • Subsidizing 50% of tuition through scholarships for nurses in an in-house RN certified school to help in the clinic.
  • Helping hundreds of patients financially who do not have the means to pay their hospital bills.
  • Providing for the hunger ministry, run by a local Presbyterian church in Kenya, touching the lives of hundreds of children.
  • Together with the Brown family, building and maintaining an expansion onto the HIV/AIDS clinic to help with counseling and testing. Assistings the Holy Family AIDS clinic help the 1500 patients diagnosed HIV+, many on anti-retrovirals.
  • Maintaining the clinic which sees about six new patients a day and has about 50-60 HIV+ patients being treated daily.
  • Equipping the hospital with necessary equipment to continue the urology surgeries begun by Dr. Bill Rawls during the January 2006 mission trip.

Ministry opportunities include:

  • Annual Mission trips.
  • Living Waters for the World.
  • Mentorship program for boys and girls.
  • Home gardening projects to develop sustainable food supplies.
