What to Expect
Have you ever dreamed of visiting a church without all the pressures . . . of visiting church? We hope to offer you that experience at First Presbyterian!
Relax. No name tags required.
When you attend your first service with us, please take one of the Visitor’s parking spaces in our parking lot. You may also park along any of the lovely neighborhood streets surrounding the church. We have lots of signs once you are in the building to direct you to worship, children's check in, and everything else! There is a Welcome Desk in our Common area. Please stop by to ask a question or find a Sunday school class.
What about kids?
We love them! First Presbyterian Church has a strong commitment to quality education, professionalism and safety of our children. Visit our Children and Family page or our Youth page for everything you need to know for children birth to high school.
An insider’s perspective.
Our congregation is a diverse group that includes every age group – from infant to great-grandparent. As a result, we’re an active church that cares for the entire family. Our members include individuals that have lived in this area their entire lives as well as those who have just recently relocated here – and you’ll be welcomed too.
The Bible in a real world.
As you experience First Presbyterian Church, we hope you will be blessed by a sermon that is insightful, uplifting and filled with real-life applications. Worship is an important aspect of our church life, but you won’t find it limited to music on Sunday. Our congregation is engaged in serving our City and our World.
One last thing to expect when you visit us.
A free gift! You won't have to shake anyone's hand or stand in a long line. Just go into The Common and pick up your copy of What on Earth Am I Here For by Rick Warren on the table across from the Welcome Desk. This is our gift to you for taking the time to worship with us and check out our awesome body of faith. We are so glad to have you and hope you come back soon!
If you are a first or second time visitor to our church, we are so glad you are here! In order to hear about your experiences at FPC, we ask that you take a minute and fill out the appropriate survey below.
