We are a church that is Seeking Christ and sharing His Love!
Three practices that will keep you connecting, serving and growing in your faith.
What does Worship + 2 Mean?
Worship on a regular basis. Attend worship on a regular basis and commit to having a daily devotional life.
Serve – Find a place to serve and be the hands and feet of Jesus through a ministry in our congregation. SERVE HERE
Nurture – Seek an opportunity to grow in your relationship with Jesus through a group or class. COMMUNITY GROUPS
FALL SERMON SERIES
Based on the beautiful Lord’s Prayer and Jesus’ isntruction about prayer, this sermon series will cover 12 unique and essential instructions on prayer. Each week, we will be invited into a deeper prayer life and conversation with our loving God by writing a prayer a day and placing it in your prayer box.
If you choose to use a digital prayer box – download this Word Template to follow
along this fall in our Let Us Pray sermon series. You can keep this in your inbox or in your phone.
This electronic letter is sent out every other week with prayer requests from church members, as well as a guide to pray for our community, country and world. Our pastors and prayer team also pray over prayer requests each week. To receive the prayer letter or submit a prayer request, email email@example.com.
First Prayer Team
Our prayer team is committed to lifting up our church and its people. These team members can be spotted praying before, during and after each service, as well as gathering on Monday nights to pray through the prayer requests submitted the day before. To join the prayer team, contact Kristine@fpcnorfolk.org.
The Spiritual Growth Map provides a way to access and investigate where you are in your spiritual journey. We desire for everyone to continue their growth by finding the next step toward maturity in Christ.
Our Community Groups are designed to encourage meaningful connections with others in our family of faith as you study God’s word. For some people, this group may be an extension of an existing group of friends. For others, this may be a new and exciting chapter of relationship and belonging in our church. Either way, our goal is that you will find a small group of people to grow close with inside of our church. Let us know if you’re interested in connecting with a group!
