Community Groups

Monthly Breakfast – The men of the church gather on the first Saturday of each month for breakfast and a good word.

Men’s Community Group-This group meets each Sunday to study scripture, pray, and spend time in fellowship. Sometimes they follow a study, other times they dive right into a passage and work together to understand its meaning and application to daily living.

Retreat – Each fall, the men of the church travel to the Outer Banks for fellowship, bible study and prayer designed to refresh and strengthen them in their faith. 

Bible Studies-There are several groups of women who gather each week to study God’s word. Some studies meet during the day, while others gather in the evening.

Women’s Community Groups-Multiple women’s groups meet on Sunday morning to connect and relate and spend time encouraging one another through God’s Word.

Monthly Women’s Potluck-Women gather together on the evening of each third Sunday for dinner and book study.

Gatherings—Several times a year, the women of the church gather for fellowship and social activities. Past activities have included potlucks, paint nights, and dessert gatherings.

We love kids! We welcome wiggles and giggles in all church services. In both our 9am and 11am worship services we have a children’s sermon, where kids can come forward to interact with our Director of Family & Children’s Ministries. Afterwards, kids are invited to attend children’s church with our children’s ministry volunteers. Or, they can return to their parents and stay in worship. Parents are welcome to join us in children’s church to help their child(ren) get acclimated. There is a nursery available for kids under 3 at 9am and 11am.

Wednesday Evenings- During the school year, Wednesday nights are filled with creativity, connection, and fun! Kids enjoy fine arts projects, cooking lessons, games, and hands-on activities designed to reinforce what they’re learning and help them grow in faith. It’s a great midweek opportunity to learn something new, make friends, and have fun together! They also work on the Christmas Pageant (an FPC tradition)!

There’s a place for every student at FPC! We have programming for both Middle School and High School students, with opportunities to grow in faith, build friendships, ask questions, and have fun together.

Sunday School meets at 10 AM for youth of all ages and recaps lessons and learning from the service.

High School Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings and Middle School Youth Group on Wednesday evenings.

There’s also monthly events and study sessions to get connected. Come join us, bring a friend, and grow together as we seek Christ and share His love!

Seniors First meets on the second Wednesday of each month. Join us for a lunch and informative presentations with speakers.
